嬉しいです

こんばんは　ぶもんの パーティに　いって、とてもたのしかったです！ともだちは　広東　からくるので、広東語で　話しました。すごかったです！それから　たくさん　先輩は　げんきで、やさしいですね！本当に　いい　ぶもんですよ！

今週と来週は　たくさん　宿題とプレゼンテーション (presentation)　があるので、とてもいそがしいです！でも、来週の土曜日は　飛行機で　香港に　かえります。日曜日の晩は　香港に　いま す！ニューヨークから　香港まで　飛行機で　十六時間くらい　かかりますよ。とても大変ですね！

しかし、嬉しい冬休みですね！たくさん　美味しいレストランに　いって、たくさん　かぞくと友達に　あうつもりです！万歳！

たのしいですね！

昨日は 中国人の友達と日本人のと 一緒に 晩ご飯を食べました。その中国人の友達も 日本語の学生が、二年生です。たくさん 話して、おもしろい練習をしました！ほんとに　楽しかったでね！

初めて 日本語が 好きじゃなかったです。でも、今は 日本語のべんきょうが　一番好きになりました！！来年は　にねんめ日本語のじゅぎょうを　するつもりです！

サンクスギビングデー休み

先週　私の　初の　サンクスギビングデです。とてもおもしろくて、よかったですね！
水曜日は　りょうで　ゆっくりして　音楽を　ききました。快適でした。それから　本を　よんで、日本語を　べんきょうしました。
木曜日に　ともだちは　たくさん中国の料理を　しました。一緒に　りょうで　ばんごはん　を　たべました。美味しかったです。
金曜日のばんは　アメリカともだちのうちで　ターキーを　たべて　たくさんはなしました。あのうちに　かわいくて　げんきな　いぬ　がいました。とてもうれしくて　楽しかったです！

でも、先週は　いそがしいので、そうじとせんたくを　しませんでした。

わたしの ふるさと

わたしは　香港 (ほんこん) からきました。香港は　ちいさいまちですよ。でも、ほんこんのたてものは　りっぱですね。ちゅうごくのレストランと韓国のレストランは　とてもいいです。このへんに　あたらしいビルがありますか。

Reflection and New Goal Statement

Reflection:
I think my pronunciation, pitch, speaking speed and listening have been improved through the past few weeks' shadowing assignment, though the pitch of talking to others still needs improvement.

Reviewing my last goal statement, I have visitedせんせいの office hour each week to have more practices; and discovered video materials that interested me, especially 日本の アニメ. However, I should do some more shadowing practices and listen to the recordings more frequently.


New Goal Statement:
In addition to continuing the aforementioned practices, I hope to particularly focus on the following features and goals --

i) improve the pronunciation of the nasal ん
ii) pronunciation and pitch can become more natural when speaking longer sentences
iii) learn and memorize new vocabularies through watching and shadowing 日本のアニメ
iv) strengthen the listening skills

Goal Statement

I am stuck in the following problems of speaking Japanese that need improvement:
1) Can't pronounce the ん sound properly
2) The pitch of long vocabularies or sentence sounds strange and unnatural
3) Can't pronounce double consonants accurately, the pause sounds not natural enough

Activities:
1) Visit せんせえの office hour once a week
2) Have two shadowing practices each week
3) Explore shadowing materials that can stimulate my learning interests of speaking
4) Listen to the recording of textbook vocabularies or conversations every week

First 3 days of learning Japanese

My interest of learning Japanese is rooted in comics and animations, particularly Doraemon and Detective Conan! They're so cool! Having attended the Japanese class for 3 days, I found it exciting to learn such an interesting language; they have Hanji but the meaning is just totally different from Chinese.

But the most difficult part by now should be memorizing the symbols or Hiragana! I hope more practices could result in better memorization.
